SES GENERAL MEETING - GREECE - 17th May 2018
Tribute to his founder and former president Paul Michaelides
During the 51 FIS Congress, SES General Meeting has decided unanimously to pay tribute to his founder and former president Paul Michaelides. Mr. Michaelides is now the Honourable President of SES.
SES GENERAL ASSEMBLY DUBLIN – 28th – 30th APRIL 2017
The Ski Federation of Ireland hosted the SES (Small Evolving Ski Nations) Assembly in Dublin, Ireland from 28th to 30th April.
17 member nations of SES attended the Assembly and a warm welcome was extended to FIS Secretary-General, Sarah Lewis, who also attended.
Presidents and Secretary Generals from the following nations attended: Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Cyprus, Georgia, Hungary, Ireland, Lebanon, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Morocco, Montenegro, Monaco, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, San Marino, and South Africa.
On Friday 28th April a reception was held to welcome all member nations. Attendees included representatives from Sport Ireland (Government Agency), Paul McDermott and The Irish Olympic Committee, Rob Johnson.
On Saturday 29th April the SES AGM was held and a new Executive Committee was elected. The newly elected committee includes:
- Milan Bozic (SRB), President;
- Pedro Farromba (POR), Vice President;
- Shane O’Connor (IRL) Secretary General;
- Freddy Kairouz (LIB), Treasurer;
- Jelena Dojcinovic (BIH), Legal Matters.
The guest speaker at the SES meeting was David Carrigy, Head of Development and International Relations of World Rugby who presented a brief overview of a World Rugby youth awareness and development strategy.
Outgoing committee members Paul Michaelides, Dan Mihoc and Ken Hicks were honored at a SES Dinner at the Royal Irish Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.
On Sunday morning a tour was arranged to the Guinness Storehouse and in the afternoon some of the delegates visited the Dry Ski Slope operated by the Ski Club of Ireland.
SES Congress 2017 - Dublin
Today April 29, took place in Dublin, in Ireland, the SES Congress 2017.
The topics to be addressed at the General Assembly are the elections, the past sporting season, the next sports season and other related subjects.
We will briefly report the results of the work on the agenda.

The next SES Executive Meeting shall take place in Zurich – Suisse, on the 29 of September 2016.

The SES Nations 2016 Congress shall take place in Marrakech – Morocco
The SES Nations 2016 Congress shall take place in Marrakech – Morocco, on the 15-18 April 2016 in Hotel Atlas.
The preliminary programme is as follows:
15 April 16 Friday Arrivals
16 April 16 Saturday Congress.
17 April 16 Sunday Bus tour to the Atlas Mountains with lunch offered by the Royal Moroccan Ski Federation.
18 April 16 Monday Departures.
The Congress Agenda will be revealed soon, according to the matters that may be included up to 16 March.

Annual General meeting of the Lebanese Ski Federation
The Lebanese Ski Federation will organize the Annual General meeting on 23th of November, the 31 clubs will discuss the Annual Report, the financial status as well as the 2015-2016 races program.

Lebanese Ski Federation Participate in the FIS Cross Country Training Camp
For the 1st time the Lebanese ski federation will participate in the FIS cross country training camp in Val di Fiemme- Italy from 8th until 19th of December , 2 Juniors athletes : Laetitia Airda and Anwar Arida in the accompany of the Slovenian Coach M Kralj Klemen will represent Lebanon in this training camp.
